OPEN DOOR NETWORKS LICENSES DOORSTOP FIREWALL TECHNOLOGY TO SYMANTEC

ASHLAND, OR -- December 15, 2000 -- Open Door Networks Inc. today announced that it has licensed its DoorStop firewall technology to Symantec Corporation. DoorStop technology provides Macintosh users with protection against unwanted access to their Macintosh from the Internet. The two companies have worked together to deliver Norton Internet Security and Norton Personal Firewall for Macintosh, the first integrated Internet security solution for Macintosh customers.
